PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playing tempo controller which make it possible to control the tempo of music through easy operation and also control other parameters while controlling the tempo of the music, and a storage medium. SOLUTION: When automatically played music which has been loaded is reproduced, a conductor and players who play musical instruments corresponding to parts of the automatically played music are displayed on a display device and as the music is reproduced, patterns of the conductor and players are switched to represent conducting operation and playing operation. When a user positions a mouse cursor C at the conductor and clicks on the mouse during the automatic playing, the tempo of the music is directly controlled according to the timing of the clicking, in concrete, the time interval between operations if a reproducing process 1 is selected, and when a reproducing process 2 is selected, a tap tempo mode is entered in response to the clicking and in the tap tempo mode, the tempo of the music is controlled according to the timing of the operation of other devices (keys of a keyboard). |
