<p>PURPOSE:To provide the resin for toners which is good in fixability, non- offsetting property and blocking resistance, is excellent in toughness, is inexpensive and is good in polymn. stability. CONSTITUTION:This polyester resin for toners is a polyester resin polymerized from a dicarboxylic acid component contg. an arom. dicarboxylic acid component at >=60mol% of the total acid component, a diol component contg. the diol component expressed by formula at >=30mol% of the total acid component and tervalent or higher valency carboxylic acid or/and tervalent or higher valency polyhydric alcohol at 5 to 30mol% of the total acid component. The softening temp. of the polyester is >=90 to <=180 deg.C, the glass transition point Tg is >=40 to <=80 deg.C and the toughness index is 250 to 600mum.</p> |
