PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate expensive parts for cost reduction by reducing a reactive current. SOLUTION: A transformer 4 of a DC-DC converter is formed so that: a series circuit comprised of switching elements 1, 2 is connected between the positive and negative poles of a DC power source 10; a series circuit, comprised of a capacitor 3 and the primary winding 5 of the transformer is connected in parallel with the switching element 2; a tertiary winding 6 and a quartic winding 7 are added to the transformer 4; an on/off signal is supplied to the switching element 2 via the tertiary winding 6; the quartic winding 7 is used as a power source winding for a control circuit 18; and the control circuit 18 detects the timing of switching the positive/negative of the quartic winding voltage and supplies on/off signals to the switching element 1 at this timing. The on-time of the switching element 1 is shortened, thereby reducing the reactive current.
