PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems of need to set strength of a shaft to be unnecessarily large, and need for a drive source for moving the shaft having an extremely large output in setting the maximum value of force supposed for moving the shaft large. SOLUTION: Since pressure generated through a seat 43 between a spherical part 35 and a housing 24 is reduced in a rangeα1 where an outer diameter of the seat 43 is smaller, friction resistance when the shaft 33 operates is reduced for a reduced part of the pressure, and force required for operating the shaft 33 can be reduced. As the result of this, the maximum value of force necessary for moving the shaft 33 can be reduced compared to a conventional spherical bearing 1. Output of a drive source necessary for moving the shaft 33 can thus be smaller, thereby a drive source such as a hydraulic pump and an electric motor of lower cost can be used.
