<p>An electronic commerce system that provides information to buyers (1), such as a government purchasing agent, can justify their purchases and an unrestricted consumer buyer, can find government approved and award winning products and services. The present invention also provides buyers with specific information that the buyers need before they can make a required purchase (3), such as architectural specifications. Buyers select from broad categories of logical databases to the specific product or service. The good or service is presented as text, a picture, or a multi-media presentation (4), along with rules, orders, statutes and other 'regulations' that the good or service meets. The list can also include honors, accolades, and 'awards' won by the product or service. Each 'regulation' and 'award' is actually a hyper link to the text of the regulation (5) which the buyer can print out locally to aid purchasing decision, or to find the specifications of required purchase.</p> |
