The present invention relates to an adjustable reamer (10), which comprises a securing portion (11), a shank (12), guide members (24,25), at least one cutting insert (14), adjustment means (36,37,38,39) and clamping means (27,40), wherein a first clamping means (27) is releaseable from the shank. A first place of contact provided between the first clamping means (27) and the shank (12) and a second place of contact is provided between the first the clamping means (27) and the cutting insert (14).
