PURPOSE: An encryption/decryption apparatus of a real-time inputted stream is provided to encrypt and decrypt the real-time inputted stream in real-time by constructing a hardware with Rijndael algorithm adopted as an advanced encryption standards(AES). CONSTITUTION: An encryption/decryption apparatus of a real-time inputted stream includes a controller(201), a key scheduler(202) and a block round part(203), The key scheduler(202) outputs a key value to be encrypted or decrypted at each round by performing a key schedule in response to a size and the key value of a block inputted from outside. The controller(201) receives a real-time stream on the base of bit and converts the real-time stream into a data on the base of block. And then, the controller(201) outputs the converted data for encryption or decryption. The controller(201) outputs the encrypted or decrypted block data converts into a data on the basis of bit and output the converted data. The block round part(203) receives the data converted on the base of block from the controller(201) and the key value of the key scheduler(202) and encrypts or decrypts the key value. Thereafter, the encrypted/decrypted key value outputs the controller(201).
