PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material reduced in curling, excellent in thermal recording characteristics of both surfaces, having self-adhesiveness on at least one surface thereof and dispensing with release paper. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material 7 is obtained by laminating a thermal recording layer 1 containing a color former and a coupler developing a color upon the contact with the color former, a releasable support 2, a release layer 3, a self-adhesive layer 4, a self-adhesive support 5 and a thermal recording layer 6 constituted in the same way as the thermal recording layer 1 in this order. By this constitution, the thermal recording material can be simply separated into release side and self-adhesive side thermal recording materials after printing and, since the release side thermal recording material can be used as a copy, the unnecessary discharge of release paper is eliminated and the self-adhesive side thermal recording material can be used for a label. |
