The invention concerns a system comprising a first converter (1) connected to a first tuner (2) and, optionally, to a second tuner (2') via switching means (6), optionally a second converter (1') connected to the second tuner (2'), means (11) for detecting whether the second converter (1') is operating and means for actuating the switching means (6) so as to connect the second tuner (2') to the second converter (1') when it is detected that the latter is operating and, otherwise, to connect it to the first converter (1). The invention is useful for automatically connecting each of the tuners to at least an antenna.
