A method for producing a sintered component made from a powdery material, especially a powdered metal, wherein a press mould is filled with powder; the powder is pressed in a pressing process to form a green compact, an at least intermittent oscillation being superimposed on the press process during said pressing; and the pressed green compact is ejected from the press mould and subsequently sintered.
