PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for converting frequency channel according to a jamming signal are provided to improve the reliability of detecting a target. CONSTITUTION: A preprocessor preprocesses a processed or sampled signal at an A/D converter(S110). A jamming detector detects a jamming signal(S120). If detected, the current frequency channel is changed into a frequency channel not generating interference with the jamming signal and then is transmitted to a main controller(S130). If not detected, a target detector receives the signal from the preprocessor without changing the channel for detecting the existence of a target(S140,S150). If there is a signal reporting the existence of the target, the target detector sends the result to the main controller(S160). If there is a signal report that non-existence of the target, the jamming detector detects the jamming signal one more time(S160). If detected, the current channel is converted into a frequency channel not generating interference with the jamming signal(S170). If not detected, a distance calculator calculates the distance with the target and then transmits the calculated distance to the main controller(S180,S190). |
