Plastic compound (14) is extruded into tube with two or more different layers (20), which is fed into open blow molding tool (12). After tool closure the tube is separated from extrudate and the interior is pressurized to press the tube against the tools internal wall (22). On solidification of the compound and relaxation of pressure the tool is opened and product extracted. The component(s) may then be cut or punched from the molding.
