A lead-through for a roof (7), especially for leading through cables (5) and/or pipes (4), has a cover element (1) located around the lead-through region. This has openings (3) on the outlet side for the passage of the cables and/or pipes. The cover element has a cover hood (2) covering the lead-through region. The lead-through region has at least one window-like mounting (11) in which several retaining elements (3) for holding the cables and/or pipes can be inserted. The cables or pipe are then fixed in the retaining elements, to secure their position. The retaining elements provide clamping and sealing of the position in the window-like mounting.
