摘要 PURPOSE: An array substrate for a liquid crystal display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to simplify the process by forming data lines and pixel electrodes simultaneously and form the data lines of low resistance for the application to a large-scaled array substrate of high resolution. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate for a liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of gate lines(125) formed on a substrate(111) in one direction, data lines(127) formed by plating a transparent conductive metal layer with a low resistance metal, perpendicularly crossing the gate lines for defining pixel areas, thin film transistors(T) positioned on the crossing points between the gate lines and the pixel areas and having gate, source, and drain electrodes and an active layer, and the pixel electrodes(117a) formed of the transparent conductive metal equal to the data lines and positioned in the pixel areas integrally with the drain electrodes.
