PURPOSE: A gateway conveyor apparatus is provided to achieve an improved work efficiency and provide products with stabilized quality by feeding PCBs in a continuous and stable manner. CONSTITUTION: A first upper plate(5) and a second upper plate(8) are installed onto a frame(4), in such a manner that the first upper plate is lower than the second upper plate. A vertical air cylinder(10) is installed beneath the first upper plate, in such a manner that a shaft(12) penetrating through the first upper plate is protruded upward. An elevating plate(14) equipped with a first guide rail(40) and a first conveyor(42) is mounted onto the shaft, such that the first guide rail and the first conveyor elevate by the operation of the vertical air cylinder. A horizontal air cylinder(46) is installed onto the second upper plate, and a movable plate(50) equipped with a second guide rail(72) and a second conveyor(76) is mounted onto the horizontal air cylinder, such that the second guide rail and the second conveyor reciprocate by the operation of the horizontal air cylinder. When the first guide rail and the second guide rail are arranged side by side, PCBs are continuously fed along the first conveyor and the second conveyor. When the first guide rail is lowered by the operation of the vertical cylinder, and the second guide rail is operated in a backward direction by the operation of the horizontal air cylinder, a passage is formed by the backward movement of the second guide rail. A gateway conveyor(2) moves in a transverse direction through thus-formed passage.
