GRAFT POLYAMINE POLYMER COAGULANT AND METHOD FOR TREATING WASTEWATER BY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided are a graft polyamine polymer coagulant, which can reduce the amount of sludge and remove chromaticity, turbidity, and organic matters effectively in wastewater, and a method for treating wastewater by using the coagulant. CONSTITUTION: The graft polyamine polymer coagulant is produced by graft-polymerizing 100pts.wt. of polyamine, produced from epichlorohydrin and tertiary amine, and 3-30pts.wt. of acrylamide monomers in the presence of an initiator, wherein tertiary amine is one selected from the group consisting of dimethyl amine, dibutyl amine, C,C,C-trimethyl-1,6-hexanediamine, and bis-hexamethylene-triamine. And wastewater is treated by adjusting the pH of wastewater to be 7-9 and then simultaneously adding 1-100mg/l of the graft polyamine polymer coagulant and 1-2500mg/l of an inorganic coagulant to wastewater to precipitate the sludge.
