PURPOSE: A cell structure of a plasma display panel is provided to accomplish same discharge characteristic for R, G and B cells. CONSTITUTION: A cell structure of a plasma display panel comprises pairs of a first and a second sustain electrodes having differing areas corresponding to opposite voltages of R, G and B cells. The distance between the first and the second sustain electrodes is smaller as the opposite voltage is large. When the opposite voltage is G cell>B cell>R cell, the distance(LG) between the first sustain electrode(XG) and the second sustain electrode(YG) of the G cell is shortest and the areas of the first sustain electrode(XG) and the second sustain electrode(YG) are largest. The distance(LB) of the B cell is larger than that(LG) of the G cell and the areas of the first sustain electrode(XB) and the second sustain electrode(YB) are smaller than those of the G cell. The distance(LR) of the R cell is largest and the areas of the first sustain electrode(XR) and the second sustain electrode(YR) are smallest. |
