The insulation glazing unit with an emergency opening function, comprises a striker bolt unit (13) and at least one airbag (15), located in the space (7) between the compound glass panes (1, 2). When activated, the striker bolt hits both panes and damages them through crack formation. The damaged panes are ejected outwards by the unfolding airbag(s).
