PURPOSE: A color cathode ray tube is provided to simultaneously improve curvature deformation and howling while maintaining insertion feature of a shadow mask. CONSTITUTION: A color cathode ray tube comprises straight parts, first bead parts(15), bottom parts and bend parts. The straight parts are extended from long edges(10a) and short edges(10b) of a frame(4) for fixing and supporting a shadow mask. The first bead parts(15) are extended to the bottoms of the straight parts and protruded toward the inner side of the frame(4). The bottom parts are extended after being bent to be orthogonal to the first bead parts(15). The bend parts are extended from the bottom parts as bent from the long edges(10a) and the short edges(10b) for preventing an electron beam reflected by collision from directing toward a phosphor surface. Each of the straight parts has a second bead part(20) protruded from the top of the first bead parts(15) toward the outer side of the frame(4).
