A sachet for packing a product is disclosed. A dispensing element is within the sachet, the dispensing element being tubular and closed at one end. The closed end of the dispensing element is pointed so that it can be used to puncture the walling of the sachet. Removal of the closed pointed end of the dispensing element allows product to be dispensed from the package through the passage in the dispensing element. An end portion of the element can be broken-off to open the passageway. Alternatively said point can be on at plug which closes the passageway. The sachet can be formed with an elongate subsidiary compartment for said element, this compartment and the main compartment of the sachet being in communication with one another.
