<p>The present invention provides the components for a stable felodipine composition and a process for preparing the composition. The composition includes felodipine, non-covalentaly bound to ß-cyclodextrin, and an optional binder as a moisture carrier component for the migration of hydroxide ions to the non-covalently bound felodipine and ß-cyclodextrin. The felodipine compositon is combined with a carrier comprising cyclodextrin particles, a water-insoluble alkaline component and a swellable polymer.</p> |
