Railing comprises a foot (10) fixable on a plate (2) projecting out from the structural body, and a post (30) which can be anchored vertically on the foot. The foot has at least one retaining ring (24, 26) which surrounds the post and which is provided with anchorage means (25, 27) e.g. bolts to secure the post in the set vertical position. The end of the foot projecting sideways under the plate is fitted with a vertical guide part having a retaining ring at the top end and a further aligned ring at the lower end.
