<p>A merchandise sales promoting method using a computer system for promoting merchandise sales by analyzing merchandise purchase data of customers by the RFM technique, characterized by comprising the steps of (a) creating human data including individual features of a customer, (b) organizing a first purchase database where data on purchase of merchandise by the customer is recorded, (c) organizing a second purchase database by dividing the total merchandise purchase times into time divisions, dividing the total purchase money into divisions, and allotting the purchase data and customer's ID number to the period division relevant to the latest purchase date of the customer, and (d) selecting two divisions from the period divisions, time divisions, and money divisions in the second purchase database, making a two-dimensional table the row of which shows one of the two divisions and the column of which shows the other, and outputting the two-dimensional table.</p> |
