PURPOSE: A method for controlling address of a mobile telecommunication system is provided to cope with addition and removal of base transceiver stations by easily and remotely changing address of the corresponding boards from an upper block, and reduce the size of a backboard and improve signal characteristics by removing a jumper. CONSTITUTION: Predetermined level of power is supplied to a CPU and an EEPROM(S210). It is confirmed whether an address is manually input by an operator through a debug port(S220). If not manual input, an address is input from an external upper block(S230). If manual input, it is confirmed whether a board address is written(S240). The board address is read(S250). A destination address to the board address is estimated(S260). |
