PURPOSE: A remote automatic inspection and water leakage patrol system for a meter is provided to prevent the error of inspection, and to achieve a production saving effect, a water pressure increase effect, and the improvement of water quality. CONSTITUTION: The remote automatic inspection and water leakage patrol system for a meter consists of a data detecting part(10) comprising an image sensor for detecting a measured value of the meter in an electric signal, and a sound sensor for detecting the sound of leaking water of the meter; an automatic data transmission device(100) for controlling the data detecting part, converting image and sound data from the data detecting part into a file according to an ID number of a corresponding consumer, and transmitting the converted data through a communication network; and a main system for reading and coding the data received from the automatic data transmission device to form a database.
