PURPOSE: A method for a download service of a music file is provided to enable a user to download the music file to a mobile unit or a PC in anytime, anywhere and any way by storing the music file brought by the user in a user's jukebox within a server of the service provider. CONSTITUTION: The user connects to a music file download site in order to listen to the diverse music(S101). The server outputs the jukebox matching to a user ID to a screen of the user computer after completing an authentication process(S103). The user selects a genre of the song want to download(S119) and inputs a part of a singer, a name or a lyric of the song according to the selected music genre(S121). The server outputs a sample of the corresponding song and a download button together with the song, the singer and the name on the screen of the user computer(S123). If the user selects the download button after confirming the song, the music file of the song is downloaded to a hard disk of the user computer with no charge(S127,S129).
