<p>An invention pertains to the motor vehicles, particularly to the supplementary or complementary lower beam headlights for additional lighting of the carriageway. Its purpose is to facilitate the driving for the most part at dark time all around the clock, especially at nighttime and conditions of limited visibility. There is offered to provide the vehicle's lower beam headlights with at least one supplementary lower beam luminaire, located separately of vehicle's headlights, or to provide at least one headlight with complementary lower beam radiator, inserted into vehicle's head lights as an additional light emitting section, said supplementary luminaire or complementary section being assembled of standard industrial lower beam headlights and lighting fittings by turning the body of luminaire by an angle up to 90° with an longitudinal axis of vehicle together with the light radiating insert as a unit. The supplementary luminaire offered is supposed to form the light beam having the transition border-plane from light to dark strongly marked. Said border-plane is supposed to be coinciding with a vertical plane that does not intersect the centre line of carriageway thus excluding glaring of persons driving from the opposite direction. The luminaire offered can be combined with the vehicle's rear-view mirror's holder providing the possibility of somewhat turning thereof.</p> |
