The wiper switch device has a carrier (2), a switch wiper (3) rotated about a wiper axis defined by 2 diametrically opposing pivot pins (9,10), received in bearing blocks (5,6) provided by the carrier and a cover (4) fitting over the switch wiper for securing the pivot pins in position relative to the bearing blocks, e.g. via a pair of recesses (13,14) receiving the ends of the pivot pins projecting beyond the bearing blocks.
