Heating device has heating body (1) provided by a material sheet incorporating an embedded heating cord (2), coupled via safety circuit (3) and an electric circuit stage (8), external to the heating body, to voltage supply. Heating cord has pair of relatively insulated resistance heating wires (2.1,2.2), with safety circuit having semiconductor switch (3.2) for disconnection of each heating wire upon short-circuit between heating wires.
