A radio communication apparatus performing high quality radio communication by removing the DC offset efficiently with high accuracy by following up variation of the DC offset with time. A DC offset calculating means (11) samples a base band signal generated from the received radio signal at a sampling time to determine a mean sampling value and subtracts the original offset value from the mean value to calculate a DC offset value. A sampling time setting means (12) sets the sampling time following up the variation of DC offset. A DC offset removing means (13) removes the DC offset by subtracting it from the DC level of the base band signal.
