PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device without any auxiliary capacity and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to remove the distortion of data voltages but realize gray voltages by using ferroelectric liquid crystal satisfying a predetermined condition instead of using any auxiliary capacity. CONSTITUTION: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device without any auxiliary capacity includes an LCD panel(800), a gate driver(600) for applying gate signals to gate lines of the LCD panel for turning on/off thin film transistors(TFTs) to drive the LCD panel, a data driver(500) for applying data voltages indicating image signals to data lines of the LCD panel for driving the LCD panel, and a signal control part(300) connected to a signal source, the gate driver and the data driver, processing the image signals from the signal source to apply signals for turning on the TFTs by the gate driver, and applying the data voltage to pixels by the data driver, wherein the pixels of the LCD panel has no auxiliary capacity between pixel electrodes and common electrodes.
