<p>A glazed roof structure comprising a ridge assembly and one or more bell end assemblies. The roof structure is characterised in that the ridge assembly comprises a hollow extruded ridge bar (1) in the form of an inverted 'T' shaped extrusion having a central web 1(a) provided with a fastening means 1(b). A plurality of extruded glazing bars (4, 9) are provided. A top (5) has a fastening means that co-operates with the fastening means 1(a) of the ridge bar (1) to hold the cap (5) in place on the ridge bar (1). Each glazing bar (4, 9) is provided with a plastic top cap (8), and a lower cover (11), in the form of an extrusion. A cover is provided on the underside of the ridge bar (1). The, or each, bell end assembly comprises a spider plate (18) of part-circular shape having a flat surface An upright member (25) provided on the flat side of the spider plate. The member (25) has a vertical slot 822) formed in one face of the member (25) and the spider plate has a channel (24) extending around the semi-circular periphery of the spider plate (18).
