<p>Cosmetics prepared by blending polypropylene glycol or a specific polar oil component or polybutylene glycol with an UV absorber to thereby relieve skin irritation; agents for relieving skin irritation by fat-soluble chemicals which comprise polypropylene glycol or a specific polar oil component or polybutylene glycol; and a method of relieving skin irritation. By relieving skin irritation by UV absorbers or fat-soluble chemicals contained in cosmetics, it becomes possible to provide cosmetics in which these UV absorbers and fat-soluble chemicals are used in an arbitrary amount to thereby fully exert the effects. Moreover, it is also possible to produce highly safe sun-block cosmetics in which UV absorbers are not percutaneously absorbed but exert excellent UV-protecting effects.</p> |
