YEONG MIN KIM'S SOFTLY OPERATING CONNECTION ROD FOR IMPROVING FUEL EFFICIENCY OF MIDDLE AND LARGE ENGINE FOR POWER GENERATING FACILITIES AND SHIP

摘要

PURPOSE: A Yeong Min Kim's softly operating connection rod for improving fuel efficiency of middle and large engine for power generating facilities and ship is provided to reduce limitation on improvement of output. CONSTITUTION: A crank angle recedes by 30.75-33.5 deg. in comparison with an existing crank angle by using a marine Kim's soft-active connection rod(8) so that maximum explosive pressure is transmitted when the crank angle is in range 28-30 deg. while maximum explosive pressure is transmitted when the existing crank angle is 3-4 deg. after top dead center so as to prevent loss of output and reduce vibration and noise.
