PURPOSE: A digital amplifier is provided to prevent a power MOS transistor decreasing its efficiency with reducing the load applied thereto by applying a digital signal thereto, to reduce a radiation plate in size by preventing the power MOS transistor from consuming its power from heat by increasing its efficiency and to reduce a volume and a noise of the amplifier because a cooling fan dose not need to be installed into the amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A digital amplifier includes an amplifier(10) for amplifying an analog signal, an oscillator for generating a signal having a predetermined frequency, a comparator(30) for converting a square wave into a digital signal, a switch(50) for switching by using the square wave, a controller(40) for controlling the switch(50), a filter(60) for converting a digital signal transmitted through the switch(50) into an analog signal and a negative feedback circuit(70) for reducing the error by processing a negative feedback for the output signal from the filter(60). The square wave is obtained by comparing the amplified analog signal and a signal with a preset frequency inputted to the comparator(30). The digital amplifier is capable of further including a protection circuit(80) for protecting the circuits.
