Anti theft system

The anti-theft system includes a key for locking doors or the steering wheel, and comprises a memory storing data (3), exchange logic (4) and an antenna (5). The entry to the barrel of the lock (6) is surrounded by a printed circuit antenna (10,11). The fixed antenna (11) at the barrel (6) is connected through a transmission and reception interface (12) to a microprocessor (13) and quartz time base (15) which are linked to a cabin calculator (18) controlling an engine injection calculator (19). Key entry initiates power supply (20) and key data (3) is compared to that stored (8) in the cabin calculator (18).
