<p>A foldaway column vehicle lift (10) is disclosed, comprising one or more lifting columns (14) with a vertical translation motion from a non-lifting to a maximum lifting position, wherein the translation motion of said columns (14) is carried out through a parallelogram or scissors-like mechanism (12) arranged under the plane substantially corresponding to the zero lifting. With such a reverse scissors (12) all the prior art drawbacks are overcome with very limited costs. Besides, only the lifting columns (12) are extended above the ground but not the delicate and untouchable hydraulic cylinders (22). The whole hydraulic and mechanical safety parts (24) are kept well protected underground.</p> |
