PURPOSE:To improve preservation characteristic by adding a specified compound to nonaqueous electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:The compound expressed by a formula I is added to nonaqueous electrolyte. (n) in the formula I is 0 or a natural number. The favorable addition ratio of the compound is a ratio of 0.1-0.5mol/liter against the nonaqueous electrolyte. Or, the compound expressed by a formula II is added to the nonaqueous electrolyte. (n) in the formula II is 1, 2, or 3. It desirable that 4,4'- methylenebis (N,N-dimethylanilin) is added to the nonaqueous electrolyte. Thereby, it is possible to obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte battery excellent in preservation characteristic and charge discharge cycle performance by allowing no contact between the nonaqueous electrolyte and positive active material. |
