<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the shaft of a club from being inadvertently broken at its hand side when the club is tested by use of a robot over a long period. SOLUTION: For the club gripping method of a golf swing robot which strikes a golf ball by imitating the swing of a golf player, the grip 22 of a golf club is stored in a through hole 42 formed by the combination of a pair of holders 40A, 40B having respective gutter-shaped grooves 42A, 42B, the through hole 42 being similar in outer shape to the grip 22 of the golf club. Next, the grip 22 is pushed out toward one open side of the through hole 42, and the surface of the grip 22 is pressed against the interior wall of the through hole 42 to hold the grip 22.</p> |
