PURPOSE:To provide a fiber-reinforced plastic reinforcing line used as a reinforcing layer for a submarine cable, a fluid transport pipe and the like and without fear of lowering of strength at joints. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing line 10 is constituted of fiber bundles 3 collecting a number of continuous fibers 1 composed of glass fiber, Aramid fiber, carbon fiber and the like altogether and two separators 2 composed of two non-bonding polyethylene and the like combined in cross shape and a resin impregnation coated layer 4 impregnating the fiber bundles 3 with synthetic resin and formed on the outer peripheries of the bundles 3 in a manner of coating the separators 2 without exposing on the surface of the reinforcing line 10. |
