Vehicle headlamp arrangement

A headlamp arrangement for a vehicle is in a position to alter an illuminated region (3) in front of the car towards the left and the right. A sensor determines the steering angle and another determines the amount of weaving that the car does to the left and right. From each is derived a headlamp angle, from which a final headlamp angle is calculated. The actual headlamp angle is then altered to match this by a control unit. When the two calculated headlamp angles lie on opposite sides of the ground in front of the car, the second is the final angle. If they lie on the same side of the ground, the larger of the two is the final angle.
