Blanking equipment on a water distribution conduit

The blanking equipment of a take off drilling for a branch line with gate valve in a main water feed pipe consists of a mounting plate (1) attached to the closed valve (C) after the branch line is removed (E). There is a sealed guide sleeve (7) in which slides blanking off rod (8). This rod is equipped on one of its ends with a blanking off head (11) designed to be moved from a position where it is contained within the mounting plate (1) to a working position where it penetrates the drilling (B) of the pipe (A) through the internal passage of the valve (C) after being opened. The blanking off head (1) is made up of a supple blank off seal (12) which cooperates with a deformation piece allowing it to pass in its retracted form through the drilling (B) of the pipe (A) and to place it in its working position in its expanded form so that it seals off the drilling.
