A display screen support 1 is provided with a mounting mechanism to which a display screen 5 may be attached. The mounting mechanism is powered such that it moves between a first "parked" position and a second, viewing, position using a combination of vertical, pivoting and tilting motions. The display may be moved to a preselected position on activation of the screen and returned to the parked position on deactivation. The screen may pivot about vertical and horizontal axes and may move vertically, using a counterweight and constant force spring, to adjust its height. The support may be floor standing and be powered electrically, hydraulically or pneumatically. It may be controlled remotely and include conduit to disguise power and signal cables. |
