PURPOSE: A transfer paper for the decoration of a picture frame and a composition of a transfer solution are provided to prevent a change of color or decolorization of a pattern printed on the picture frame as well as the peeling of the pattern by adopting a protective layer. CONSTITUTION: The transfer paper for the decoration of a picture frame is formed by successively applying an urethane lusterless coating layer(33), an AR(alcohol removable) ink layer(35), a protective layer(37), a printed pattern layer(39) having a desired color, a gold and silver layer(41) composed of gold powder and silver powder, and an adhesive layer(43) on the top surface of a transparent PET film(31). The AR ink used in the AR ink layer consists of polyvinyl butyral resin varnish of 50-65 wt percent, pigment of 10-30 wt percent, methanol of 10-15 wt percent, isopropyl alcohol of 10-15 wt percent, and an additive of 1 wt percent.
