After a car 1 enters the entering garage berth 3, walls 3A and 3B of the entering garage berth 3 are illuminated by the illuminating equipment 4A and 4B, and the shadow of an object present in the entering garage berth 3 is projected on the walls 3A and 3B. Then, the presence or absence of the moving shadow is detected, and when the moving shadow is detected, it is judged that a person or another animal intrudes the entering garage berth 3, and the activation of the parking lot is stopped.
