PURPOSE: A lan data concentration apparatus with a switching hub function is provided to multiplex and demultiplex a high speed data of up and down 10 Mbps of high speed data of a number of subscribers within 1 Km through a two wire telephone line by using a quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM) method, as well as to have a simple structure by incorporating therein a switching hub, thereby keeping a data security between subscribers connected to the same concentration apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A lan data concentration apparatus with a switching hub function includes a plurality of subscriber connection parts(10_1-10_16), each of the subscriber connection parts(10_1-10_16) being connected to the plurality of subscriber's home with two wire telephone line, respectively, a plurality of telephone line connection parts(20_1-20_16) for connecting the telephone lines transmitting from a switching network to the subscribers, respectively, an Ethernet connection part(100) for connecting an internet, a plurality of splitters(30_1-30_16), a plurality of sending/receiving dividers(30_1-30_16), a plurality of QAM mutilplexing/demultiplexing parts(50_1-50_16), a plurality of controllers(70_1-70_16) for controlling the QAM mutilplexing/demultiplexing parts(50_1-50_16), a plurality of storage parts(60_1-60_16) for storing data such as a system initiation or coefficients during the multiplexing/demultiplexing of the parts(50_1-50_16), a switching part(80) and a displaying part(90). The splitters(30_1-30_16) divide and combine lan data and the telephone signals inputted/output from/to the subscriber connection parts(10_1-10_16) to input/output the divided/combined signals to/from the telephone connection parts(20_1-20_16).
