<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for agitating and separating carriers, which is capable of fluidizing and agitating the carriers in a denitrification tank and efficiently separating the carriers by a screen. SOLUTION: The device for agitating and separating the carriers has a main body 5 which is immersed inside a tank 1 into which the carriers 3 immobilizing microorganisms are charged, forms a circulation flow passage 6 perforated up and down, is connected to a movable short body 13 constituting a flow in part at the upper part, and has a hollow chamber 8 provided on the way, a flow-out pipe 11 whose one end communicates with a flow passage 10 in the chamber 8 and whose other end communicates with the outside of the tank, a screen 12 forming an inner wall of the chamber 8 facing to the circulation flow passage 6 and isolating the flow passage 10 in the chamber 8 and the circulation passage 6, and an agitator 14 which is provided at the upper part of the main body 5 and feeds descending water flow having a prescribed pressure in the circulation flow passage 6.</p> |
