PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic cup container which is good in barrier properties, design properties, and appearance properties, has no biased wall thickness, and can be produced relatively inexpensively and a method for producing the container. SOLUTION: In the plastic cup container composed of a circumferential wall 110 and a bottom plate 120, an insert label 11 having barrier properties is adhered to the peripheral surface of the circumferential wall, and a resin layer 121 having barrier properties is formed in the intermediate layer of the bottom plate.
