PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a transporting cost and treatment cost by easily treating waste muddy water containing bentonite on a work site and separating the same to water and solid matter. SOLUTION: Bivalent or tervalent salt iron is added and mixed at 1,700 ppm to and with the bentonite muddy water which is discharged from the inside of a pit by a slurry shield method, etc., and is sent to a mixing machine. A high-polymer system flocculating agent is added at 1,000 ppm to the bentonite muddy water mixed with the salt iron just before a centrifuge and the mixture is mixed and agitated by a pipeline agitator 6, by which floc is formed and the formed floc is sent without destruction to the centrifuge 9. The floc is separated by the centrifuge to water and filter cake.
