PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slitter device capable of rationalizing the work of a slitter process and reducing the loss at a reprocess in a post-process. SOLUTION: A small-wind product with a prescribed number of wound meter is formed by winding up a band-like body S delivered from a winder R on winding shafts 3 and 4 arranged in zigzag while cutting it into a plurality of columns in the width direction in this slitter device. The distance between the winding shafts 3 and 4 is made variable and changed by utilizing the defect information of the processing winder R, and a plurality of small-winds are collected into a large-wind state, instead of the small-wind product, for a specific example including a large quantity of defects. The load of the fitting/removing work of a small-wind, which has been required for connecting only nondefective portions from the small-wind including defects in the past, is reduced, the futility of a cut section is eliminated, the work of the slitter process can be rationalized, and the loss at the reprocess in the post-process can be reduced.
